A few high quality 'official' special tools applicable to the original BMC MINI and 1100/1300 range of cars - also others of the same period. Some of the tools are manufactured by Churchill - who in those days were the official special tool suppliers to BMC/BL. Postage can be combined on ebay purchases so the more you buy the less the postage per item - possibly - it depends on if additional items takes you over a price point threshold. Will post worldwide, ask for quote if you are a serious purchaser .

Home made and very effective spanner (used with a slip-on extension bar) for removing and replacing the top and bottom ball joints on MINI and 1100/1300 suspensions. May also suit Metro range of cars. Clamp the hub in a vice, bend back the tab washer fully, slip on the tool and extension bar (not supplied) and turn gently using hand pressure - not impact blows. I've forgotten how many times I used this about 30 years ago!! Later I used the special deep throat socket shown below - but this is just as effective. I believe the socket fits gearbox nuts also - I can't remember.

18G 587 ball pin hub spanner - for removing top and bottom ball joints on front suspension. I have a vague recollection it is used for a gearbox nut as well - can't be sure. It is basically a deep throat 1/2" drive socket.

Two large inch size AF sockets 1 5/16" and 1 1/2" (one and a half inches) used for CVJ/hub nuts and the clutch securing nut on Mini 1100 cars and others - photos later. The larger socket has been ground to give no lead-in taper which gives a better grip when undoing the central clutch nut - which is rather 'thin' (the torque is 150 ft.lb if my memory serves me right)
