at Honiton Folk Dance Club

Beginners welcome!..........Everyone welcome!

Why not try learning in a friendly atmosphere?

Dances are held at the Royal British Legion Club, Honiton,
on most Mondays at 8 pm. Dates for 2008 here.

Andrew Mycroft and June are often joined by guest musicians.
Live music is a feature of this club.

Before coming to Devon, Andrew led a folk band in the West Midlands. The club caters for people of all ages and is keen to attract new members. Why not come along - by yourself or with a friend? Many people come by themselves.

Dates for dances in 2008

You can check the date and time of most folk events in Devon
(click on 'monthly diary' and then on the relevant month).

Basic folk dance moves are explained here.

Once you are reasonably competent you can enjoy Great Western's ceilidhs usually held at 8pm at John Stocker (Bowhill Primary) School, Buddle Lane, Exeter.
BUT BE CAREFUL of the severe road hump at the main school gate. You risk damaging your car if you go over this 'safety' measure at more than a slow walking pace!!
